In the summer time, when you can’t make your fashion statement by layering, or wearing your favorite wool blazer, or throwing on a check scarf like you could in cooler weather. It’s rather essential to find other ways to express your own style. However small of a gesture it may be.
Gathered here are a few ideas to point you in the right direction.
It’s important to keep it simple. Accessories should make a statement while working together, not one standing out over the other. Obviously you can pull out a statement piece now and then, just make sure it’s not overpowering.
Lets take time to talk about the Fedora. A topic on which a a book could be written. There is a wrong way to wear them. But you would have to try pretty hard to do so. If you are comfortable with them, and the occasion calls for it, wear it.
Believe it or not, Spring is in full swing! Trips to the local swimming hole and the beach are fast becoming inevitable.
Swim shorts are a great accessory to show your own personal style. Here are some of my favorites. Starting with the long lengths, and working shorter.
This is the longest I think any board short should be. At well below the knee, something just doesn’t look right. It’s the most popular length though. To each His own!
Right above the knee. I’d say this is the perfect length. Knee’s are nothing to be ashamed about!
Last but not least, the pair I would show up to a beach party in. In the high fashion crowd this length seems to be the winner.
On a scale of one to ten, what I’m about to show you is an 11 in the “awesome must have shoe” department.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
The Barker Black – Haraboro Cap Toe – Apple Calf Shoe.
The Haraboro Cap Toe is a classic style, shown here in a fresh edgy color.
‘Black makes some of the most expensive ready made shoes in the Men’s fashion industry. Some of the best quality as well. Barker Black has a very interesting History in England.
Another pair in the same Apple color. The Wallace – Apple Suede.
A modern color, along with a great sleek style.
I’m having a hard time picturing what outfit these two shoes could go with, but that hasn’t put me off wanting them…. badly.

“Cheap”. Not always a bad thing, It’s something that High Fashion is not, that’s for sure. But, if you need a brake in the ‘ol fashion budget, here are some helpful stores that could make things easier.
You don’t have to spend a small fortune to stay in style. Thanks to friendly neighborhood mega- stores like 21Men (formerly Heritage1981) by Forever21 and H&M, looking up-to-the minute is a very simple task.
Check out more on, www.forever21.com/21men. Their online store is great, and has everything they carry on it, the stores however are few and far between, and don’t have that great of a selection.
H&M does not have an online store for the US, Yet. But they do have plenty of store locations. www.shop.hm.com/mens
Take a guess at what you think each outfit costs, then run your mouse over the picture to see how close you got the price.
Pretty crazy hm? These stores have many different styles, so there’s something for every Man’s style, at a price everyone should like.

I put together this outfit to show casual can be fun while still looking sharp, and interesting.
My favorite piece would have to be the jacket, It’s a one of a kind hand made master piece by Greg Lauren. Constructed of Vintage military duffel bags, every jacket looks different and unique.
These are just a few looks from the Valentino Men’s SS line. Stunning!
One of my favorite Double Breasted Suits of the season, maybe all time.
A silk shirt, not every man could pull it off. But if your one who can, this is for you.
If I had to be stuck in one outfit for the rest of the year. This would be it… True story. Modern sleeve length, with a healthy amount of cuff showing gives it a more every-day-wear kind of look.

Marc by Marc Jacobs, this line had a very warm and Vintage feel.
Lot’s of great texture going on,
One of the best “Suit/Sneaker” combos we’ve seen.
